You work with 2 strands held together throughout.

Gauge: 12 stitches and 44 rows in brioche stitch on size 5 mm(US 8) needles = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 in

Procedure:
The hat is casted on using the Italian cast-on method,and worked in the round in brioche stitch until the top isfinished with beautiful double decreases.The hat is knitted on a circular needle using the magicloop method, but you can certainly use double-pointedneedles if you prefer.
