Procedure
The shawl is started at the neck and knitted back andforth in knit and purl stitches. Work garter ridges alongboth sides as edges. And in every 7th stripe, knit a row ofholes. The shawl is divided into 5 sections, separated by 4strands, consisting of 2 sts each. Increases are madewith different frequencies along the different strandsand these increases are made with yarn overs formingfine holes. There are also 2 strands just inside the garterridge edges, where increases are made.
The shawl is reversible. It is finished with a fine knitted lace, that is knitted on atthe end, along the edge at the bottom while binding off.
